VR Report

This repository contains the Typst template for the documentation of the user study in the module Virtual Reality.

Overview

This repository contains the following directories:

/fonts

Contains all fonts required by the document:

  • Adobe Source Sans
  • Adobe Source Serif
  • Google Noto Color Emoji

The fonts are not covered by the project's ISC license. The respective licenses are included in the corresponding folders.

/src

Contains the files for generating the report:

  • help.typ is the source code of the help document
  • main.typ is the main file. It contains placeholder text, which you should replace with your own content
  • references.bib can be extended with your BibTeX entries
  • thm/* are files of the Typst template, which usually do not need to be modified

/out

Contains the generated PDFs. This folder is part of the repository so that you can view the notes (help.pdf) and a sample report (main.pdf) as PDFs.

Usage

You have three options for using this template:

  1. Install VSCodium (or VSCode) and the extension Tinymist Typst. It provides syntax highlighting and a preview mode, and it can generate PDFs.
  2. Generate the PDF via the command line. If you have just and Podman installed, you can generate the PDF in the out/ directory with just build.
  3. Use the online editor at Typst.app. This option is untested, but allows for easy collaboration.
